The CREANET consortium has been built between January and December 2009 starting from a core group of 5 countries (IT,SE,DE,DK,FI) that decided to develop the project idea. Following the preparatory visit in October 2009 the consortium has been extended to actors from PT SP, LT, LV and HR. The rationale at the basis of the creation of the partnership has been the involvement of different types of actors that could bring added value and inputs from different perspectives on the issue of creativity in the pre-school context.

The partnership consists of universities, teacher training colleges and local/regional authorities. The consortium covers therefore four key areas needed in order to create a high quality forum for discussion, exchange and development on the theme: actors involved in research (IT,LV,SP, DK,FI), training(PT,LT), drafting of policies (DE) and management of services(IT,SE,HR).
